NCS Flex offers NCS Online students the opportunity to participate in the rich and vibrant culture of the Northwest Christian School campus in a variety of ways.

The Red Letter Reading Challenge is an exciting challenge given to the elementary students by our Superintendent, Mr. Brown. He challenges NCS elementary students to join him in reading scripture daily for a month. Students who complete this challenge are rewarded with an exciting surprise that changes every year! Past surprises include a trip to Baskin Robbins for unlimited ice cream, a trip to Scoopwells, a day at Paqua Park, and more!
Step Up Days are an opportunity for current Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 5th grade students to "step up" to the next grade level for the day and see what next year will be like for them.
Summer Stitching Events are hosted throughout the summer by NCS for current and new NCS families and students. These events are specifically design to provide opportunities for connection amongst students and parents, serving to "stitch" new families into the fabric of the NCS community!
Chapels occur every Wednesday on the NCS campus and include a time of worship and prayer. We invite pastors and Christian leaders from the community to speak during chapel on various topics.
6th Grade Day is an important day hosted by NCS for our 6th grade students and their parents. The girls spend a day with their mom and boys spend the day with their dad participating in fun activities and having important discussions about their identity and value in Christ.
The Amazing Race is another 'field day' of sorts put on by NCS Middle School Student Council. Students participate in their Impact Groups and run around the NCS campus playing games and competing against other Impact Groups for points. This is always a fun day of competition, community, and snow cones!

The Come and See Journal is a publication put together by NCS students consisting of digital art, traditional art, photography, and writing created and submitted by fellow NCS students. Check out our latest publication of the Come and See Journal here!
Impact groups consist of groups of 8-12 students in the same grade level who are assigned to a teacher or staff member on the NCS campus. Impact groups meet weekly after chapel on Wednesdays for 10-25 minutes and discuss chapel, life, and check-in with each other. This is another opportunity for students to connect with each other and staff members who love and care about them.

Middle School - Available to Flex Students with Fee

Community groups meet weekly after chapel on Wednesdays for 10-25 minutes and discuss chapel, life, and check-in with each other. This is another opportunity for students to connect with each other and staff members who love and care about them.
Serve Day occurs once per semester and is a time for high school students to go out into the community and serve the city of Phoenix in various ways. Historically, NCS sends groups of students and staff to Feed My Starving Children, Deep Within Ministries, Crisis Pregnancy Center, and many other ministries across the state of Arizona.
